Welcome to Sacred Creations, a blossoming expression of an alternative to the world of mass factory production, fast fashion, disposables, and synthetics. It is my mission to harmoniously flow with the divine intelligence of life and creation thereby allowing beauty to be created through me in this life and on this planet. In this way, meaning is restored, and every creation becomes sacred. Every creation found here has been thoughtfully handcrafted in small batches as with the natural botanical formulations or handwoven over several hours as with my beaded jewelry. 

Sourcing out nothing less than clean, quality ingredients and high vibration essential oils is a priority in all my botanical formulations, understanding that what we put on and into our bodies affects how we experience life, the vitality of our bodies, and our precious planet. 

The beaded wares you find here take inspiration from sacred symbols, designs, and geometries, my ever deepening work with plant spirit medicine, and of course Nature which so finely and artistically embodies all these aspects in all her perfection. Like everything found in nature’s expression, each piece of jewelry is unique, embodying an energy of the moment in which it was created; therefore no two pieces are the same, just as no two moments in life are ever the same. Every creation is thus a work of art, woven with flow and intention.

 

Meet the Maker

My name is Kristin, I am the designer and maker behind Sacred Creations. Since my beginnings on this planet I have naturally found ways to express my creative flame that varied throughout the years, from music to beading and a hundred things in between. However, it wasn’t until a few short years ago, in the midst of a stifle of my creative expression and life force energy brought about by the pressures of society, constrained in an ultimately unfulfilling 9 to 5, and the energy of just trying to survive to make ends meet that I truly realized how precious and invaluable this creative flame is- a flame that I believe is inherent and unique within all humans. Around this time is when the art of beading had a strong grasp on me. While I did choose to devote my time and energy into learning and developing the art, it seemed to also have chosen me. The energy to persist with incredible patience through the slow learning years when most finished pieces ended up in the discard pile seemed to flow to me endlessly, which is a gift I am forever grateful for. I also find solace in how the art of beadweaving, in some divine way, also connects me to my roots in ancient Slavic traditions, a culture in which embroidery, beadwork, and other needlework has been practiced for thousands of years. 

My ongoing healing and awakening journey working with plant spirit medicine has been one of learning and unlearning and is at the forefront of the inspiration and guidance of how I choose to live this life I was given. My mission with Sacred Creations is to first honour that precious creative flame- the one that is within everyone and that when genuinely channeled, brings beauty and service to the people and the planet- and second, to inspire others to find and share theirs. Because, our world could certainly benefit from more beauty!
